Recently, we had the honor of attending the 3rd Annual Black Theatre United Gala, an inspiring evening themed “United: Today & Beyond.” The gala brought together artists, leaders, and supporters to celebrate the extraordinary influence of Black excellence on Broadway and the wider arts community.
The night was more than just a celebration—it was a meaningful opportunity to reconnect with creators, performers, producers, and advocates who are dedicated to uplifting and advancing Black artistry. The energy in the room was filled with passion, purpose, and a shared vision for a more inclusive future in the arts.
We extend our warmest congratulations to all of the incredible honorees whose work continues to shape and inspire the theatre community. We are especially grateful to Black Theatre United for their unwavering commitment to promoting Black talent and fostering a powerful sense of community within the industry.
A special note of appreciation goes to our Board member and BTU Co-founder, Carin Ford, whose relentless leadership and dedication continue to push this vital movement forward.
It was truly a night to remember—one that celebrated the legacy of Black artistry while looking ahead to an even brighter future.
