Actors FCU was proud to participate in the American Black Film Festival (ABFF) in collaboration with the Actor Empowerment Summit, an event dedicated to celebrating, supporting, and empowering creative professionals across the creative community.
For Yvana Ellison, Senior Manager of Marketing at Actors FCU, the experience was both inspiring and impactful.
"Attending the American Black Film Festival in collaboration with the Actor Empowerment Summit was an incredible experience," said Ellison. "Their commitment to empowering creatives was evident throughout the event, especially in their support of the powerful film 93 Til."
One of the standout features of the event was the thoughtfully curated meet-up space designed specifically for the creative community. The environment fostered meaningful conversations and networking opportunities among filmmakers, actors, writers, producers, and other industry professionals.
"The meet-up space created an inclusive environment where creatives could connect, collaborate, and build lasting relationships," Ellison shared. "It was exciting to see so many talented individuals coming together to support one another and share ideas."
As a financial institution dedicated to serving those in the creative community, Actors FCU values opportunities to engage directly with the creative community and support spaces where artists and industry professionals can thrive.
"I was proud to represent Actors FCU at such an impactful event," said Ellison. "The passion, creativity, and sense of community on display throughout the festival were truly inspiring."
Actors FCU looks forward to continuing its support of creative professionals and participating in events that strengthen connections across the entertainment industry.
